Classification
General
Usage:
6x19 Bright-Having 19 to 26 wires per strand.
This classification of wire rope affords the greatest variety
of application, and is generally the most popular for the
following uses: dozers, draglines, derricks, scrapers,
excavators, pile drivers, hoists, mining ropes, railroad car
pullers and retarders, crane rigging, ship cargo runners and
topping lifts, logging chockers, arch-lines, and general
purpose wire rope slings.
DO NOT EXCEED WORK LOAD
LIMIT OR 20% OF THE PRODUCT'S BREAK
STRENGTH.

Preformed 6
x 37 Classification
General Usage:
6x37 Bright-Having 27 to 49 wires per strand.
A more flexible class of wire rope with some of the following
popular uses: tag lines, flexible load binders and slings, trip
lines, side boom lines, mining skip hoists, mining machine
lines, and winch lines, drilling, horsehead lines, tong lines,
and casing lines.
DO NOT EXCEED WORK LOAD LIMIT OR 20% OF
THE PRODUCT'S BREAK STRENGTH.

Galvanized
6 x 19
General Usage:
6x19 Galvanized
Approximately the same general application as 6x19 bright, but
where extra resistance to corrosion is required. Continuous
bending around sheaves and drums should be avoided. Examples:
Shroud lines for the marine industry.
